Gonzaga failed to net a field goal over the final four-plus minutes of the opening half, and the Cougars' 12-4 run -- capped by Anson Winder's layup at the buzzer -- gave the hosts a 38-24 edge at halftime.

BYU extended an 11-point lead with an 8-0 run midway through the second half, as Carlino's layup provided a 63-44 cushion.

The Bulldogs trailed by double digits until the final two minutes.
